Group Runs
While our official sessions are on Wednesday, take advantage of these optional group training opportunities.
Run, walk, jog – all ages and paces welcome.
Group leaders will be available to support you in your run/walk/jog.
We have a “no-drop” policy so nobody is left behind. Whatever your pace, you should find someone to run/walk with.
Tuesday Evenings
6:00 PM at the Russell Park & Ride (at the end of 1st Avenue)
Distances/times range between 20 and 45 minutes (or 4 to 8 km)
Sunday Morning
9:00 AM at the parking lot beside Euphie d’ici in Embrun
NOTE:
– Additional meet up at the Sports Dome if interest
– Starting March 1st we resume our regular 8:00 AM start time
Distances/times range between 20 and 90 minutes (or 4 to 15 km)
Thursday Tempo Workouts:
6:00 PM at the W. E. Burton Conservation Area parking lot
These structured, progressive workouts will help you build speed and endurance alongside your fellow Russell Run Club members.

Saturdays at 9:00 AM
Russell Park & Ride (at the end of 1st Avenue)
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!
